S. Randy Lampert
Founder of LDX, Randy has been active in the debt capital markets for nearly 40 years. During that time, he has completed over $15 Billion in debt and equity financings. In addition to his duties at LDX, Randy also serves as the CEO of both Lampert Debt Advisors and Lampert Capital Markets.
Prior to founding his own financial firms, Randy was the co-founder of the debt capital markets group at a major middle market financial firm, where he also was the head of Business Development. Prior to that, he founded the Leveraged Finance Group at Nomura Securities that originated principal transactions for a $750MM fund and underwrote a variety of placements for High Yield Debt transactions. He was a partner with the predecessor to APAX Partners engaged in financings for leveraged buyouts and private equity investments. Randy began his career in finance with Salomon Brothers and, in his decade with the firm, rose to Group Head of the New England Region while executing variety of investment grade and high yield financings on behalf of technology, telecommunications, and industrial companies. During that time, he also created a variety of unique structured debt financings and funding vehicles for companies such as Xerox, United Airlines, Fiat, Avis Rental Cars, and others.
Randy received a B.A. cum laude, with highest honors in Economics from the University of Rochester, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago where he was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
